This side chair is a period piece of Arts and Crafts furniture made by The Stickley Brothers in the 1920's. It is made of quarter sawn oak with the original finish in the Mission Oak Style.
The metal tag reads "Quaint Furniture Stickley Bros. Furniture Grand Rapids Michigan."
It measures 36 1/2" tall. The seat is 18 1/4" at it's widest and 14 1/2" at it's smallest. It measures 18" from the seat to the floor.
The condition is fair. The blue fabric seat cover is not original and is worn and tattered along the edges. The original leather seat cover is under the blue fabric but the condition of the leather is also worn from what I can see along the edges. There is straw stuffing visible where the leather and the fabric have both worn through.
The frame of the chair is loose and has a slight wobble. I think it needs to be reglued at the joints. There are several places where the wood has split and needs to be glued and clamped.
This chair is for pick up only. We are located outside of Atlantic City, NJ.
