This abecediary is laser cut from 1/4" thick MDF with a white melamine surface, measuring 5" wide by 6" tall. While this piece will not stand on its own, it looks great leaning in a bookshelf or hanging on a wall near any typophile's desk. The melamine coating is durable and easy to clean, but the edges are not water treated, so I would recommend keeping this decoration inside your home or office.
All twenty-six lowercase letters are set in Rockwell, tracked and leaded tightly to create a solid block of lettering with an appealing staggered edge. Rockwell's thick slab serifs connect each row of letters together, resulting in a single, sturdy piece. The white face contrasts beautifully with the blackened edges.
