It is varnished to protect the color from fading.

All artwork is carefully packaged with bubble wrap and packing peanuts in a sturdy box to make sure it arrives in it's original perfect condition
It will ship UPS or Fedex(If you have a preference please include that in the notes to seller at checkout).

NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS Outside of North America- Paintings larger than 16x20 can only be shipped if they are rolled and shipped in a tube and you will have to have them stretched on a wooden frame. This is usually done at a framing shop.
