Gloomy Rain Cloud is a needle-felted brooch made by lovingly stabbing repeatedly at merino wool with a barbed needle until it does what I want it to! (no wonder he’s looking so sorry for himself!) I’ve stitched a fine chain rain onto his back, which will sway nicely when you walk. His brooch pin is sewn on tight, and secured with a piece of felt stitched over the top, and over the scratchy bits of chain so that they’re neat, tidy and won’t cause you any irritation. He’s fairly mini, measuring approximately 45mm wide at his widest point, and 60mm tall from the highest point of cloud to the bottom of the longest length of chain.
You don’t want to make this little guy any grumpier, so please don’t give him to anyone who isn’t old enough to look after him properly. Ironic though it may seem, he’s also not too keen on getting wet, so don’t wear him in stormy weather!
