It clips on easily with an alligator clip that is very securely sewn into the top of the tail. I tried pinching my finger with it to see if it would be a source of sadness for little ones and it didn't hurt, so I feel comfortable as the mom of a 2 year old letting my little guy play with it.
Great for pretending to be Max from Where the Wild Things Are, or being a wolf, or being a werewolf, or being a grey fox, or anything else with a tail for that matter. Let your imagination run wild.
About 23" long and 4.5" wide at the widest point, this is fun for kids of all ages, and for sort of grown-ups too.
Stuffed with super fuzzy fabric scraps from my monster slippers. Very soft and squishy. This is part of my attempt at zero waste design. :-)
