This is an stunning antique art nouveau masterpiece by William B. Kerr and Company circa 1900- solid sterling silver belt buckle depicting two ornate Ladies in true art nouveau fashion, with cupid at the center resting on a shield. This piece is dotted with purple stones which I believe are amethyst, all are intact.
Kerr was a company founded in 1855 in Newark NJ, who were best known for their gorgeous art nouveau sterling figural pieces. Their work is highly prized among collectors for its design, detail, and fine craftsmanship. This museum piece is no exception and perfect for the discriminating collector.
