Hyperion is a massive solid maple turntable with very high-end components.
The body of this turntable is a solid maple burl slab with a solid maple substructure and legs.
Hyperion features a Rega-compatible 24 volt drive system ($225 retail) with a Choir Audio heavy aluminum platter ($349 retail), the superb SME S2-12R Tonearm ($2300 msrp), and a Rega Elys cartridge ($295 retail).
This turntable's top surface is finished with several coats of hand-rubbed varnish and paste wax. The remainder is finished with hand-rubbed polyurethane.
Hyperion can be fitted for 230V usage as well.
Overall size is approximately 30"w x 22"d x 10"h.
