Hand carved wooden boot has "Hand Made in Yugoslavia" embossed on the bottom. Found at an antique market in Connecticut. I don't know if this is an antique, but it was made before the Balkan wars of the 1990's. (See bottom of this page for info about Yugoslavia.)
Probably made as a souvenir or for export since the inscription is written in English.
The new cushion is made from a cotton print fabric with colorful flowers on a black background. It is generously filled with Silky Soft polyester fiberfill for a nice firm pillow. Quality fiberfill makes a nice difference.
This pincushion is 3.75" long, 1.5" wide, and 3.25" tall (not including the pins).
This little boot will add a colorful ethnic flair to your sewing space, or will make a charming gift for a friend.
