The artist/friend whose materials I used: his name was Norman Pate and the materials I use are painted newspapers that he would use to create collages of an entirely abstract and amazing nature. He was a prolific artist and he continues to inspire many people in my community today. When he passed away, his family donated his materials and completed works to the school I work at and sales helped to fund a scholarship in his name.
The collage was created on sturdy chipboard. Please note: Artist's Cards, Editions or Originals (ACEO) are tiny works of art in one of many forms: prints, drawings, collages or paintings, etc. ACEO's must be 2.5 by 3.5 inches, as this one is.
