there is some rubwear near one of the buckle holes, and the previous owner cut out a rectangular notch from the belt -- there is also a safety pin attached to the back of the belt, so it seems to me this was done in order to pin down the end of the belt. The cut-out part is covered by the end of the strap unless you wear the belt on the largest size, 27.5" around (which would be unlikely since the skirt waist only goes up to 25.5"). There are no other flaws or damage, and other than that, the dress looks new. So, all in all, excellent, beautiful condition ♥
some interesting facts about silk:
♥ silk is the most hypoallergenic of all fabrics
♥ An all-climate fabric, silk is warm and cozy in winter and comfortably cool when temperatures rise. Its natural temperature-regulating properties give silk a paradoxical ability to cool and warm simultaneously. Silk garments thus outperform other fabrics in both summer and winter.
♥ Silk is highly absorbent: Unlike cotton, which is also a breathable fabric, it can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling damp, making it wonderful, comfortable fabric to wear during the warm-weather months.
♥ In spite of its delicate appearance, silk is relatively robust. Its smooth surface resists soil and odors well. Silk is wrinkle and tear resistant, and dries quickly
♥ Strong as steel in tensile strength, silk is the strongest natural fiber known to man and has rightly earned its reputation as the queen of all fabrics.
