Very unusual and perhaps quite unique hexagon shaped handbag from the 1970s by Charles Jourdan. It is made from soft and delicate leather which has a speckled metallic finish with copper color accents. The geometric patterns is very interesting as the front and back have been tapered to create a peak in the center which makes for an Asian, Origami style look. Measurements are 8.75" width, 8" height, 2" depth and the purse pulls open to about 4" which allows for easy access to items kept inside. The shoulder strap is 42" long. All is in excellent condition, without damage or repair. The only indication that this is an older purse is some rubbing of the copper finish on the inside flap which does not affect the leather and it is mentioned for accuracy only. The gold color plaque identifies the purse as a genuine Charles Jourdan "Made in France" Paris model.
