These utensils are made from solid birch wood that is harvested from F.S.C. (Forest Stewardship Council) certified replanted / sustainable forests. They have no coatings or glazes, so they are biodegradable and compostable. It also means that if you are using these while camping, they are safe to throw in the fire when you are done! They are lightweight and meant for one time use.
Each piece of cutlery is hand stamped and unique. The wood can sometimes vary in color and texture, which can result in a different appearance of the stamping.
