The flower was collected in Connecticut, pressed, and then affixed to the back of round glass with a background of ivory handmade paper. Everything has been sealed with a protective glass-like glaze that will withstand daily wear. The glaze is durable, scratch-proof, and water-resistant, (though I recommend against wearing the necklace while swimming or showering).
The pendant measures 1 1/2" (40 mm), and hangs on an 18" (45 cm) silver chain. The chain may be replaced with a 16" or 20" chain at no extra cost.
