You will receive the exact skeins shown in the photos, both for just $14.95. If you've been frustrated by sari silk yarn in the past, give my Super Premium a try - it's soft, smooth, and easy to work with.

This recycled yarn is top quality. Compared to lower-grade recycled silk yarn, the diameter and twist are more consistent throughout the skein and it is soft, smooth, and clean. As with all recycled silk yarn, it may not be completely colorfast when wet - I recommend handwashing separately in cold water with a gentle detergent. If needed, use a bit of fabric softener to maintain softness.
The conventional wisdom regarding recycled silk yarn is that every skein is different, so buy whatever skeins your local yarn shop has in stock and alternate skeins while knitting if you want a more uniform appearance. By the time yarn reaches most retailers, it is indeed true that they're unlikely to receive many skeins that "go together." However, I get my yarn directly from a women's collective in Nepal with whom I've worked closely for years, so I have groups of skeins that were spun by the same person, from the same batch of recycled silk fiber. Yes, every skein is different, but I keep groups of similar colors together. Most of these groups consist of 2 to 6 skeins; if you need more than that, convo me and I'll check my inventory for additional skeins in similar colors. (If you're a fan of recycled silk yarn, you probably already know that blue and green are rare - I don't get many skeins in those colors).
If you have severe allergies to metal, then it may be best to avoid recycled silk yarn due to the fact that it may contain tiny amounts of metallic thread, a popular embellishment for saris.
