The cdv measures 2 1/2 by 4 inches and is a plain thin card would have had square corners before being trimmed to go in an album or frame, both indications of the early 1860's. The photographer's mark is on the reverse. The overall condition otherwise is good to very good. Photo software has been used to enlarge it to show details. If ever you are not satisfied with the image, it may be returned for a full refund. If you have a question or wish to see another scan, please send me a convo.
The photo will be sent in a new cardboard mailer with delivery confirmation. Combined shipping is available for more than one item. The use of cardboard photo mailers is what most collectors prefer.
There is a new option for less expensive shipping. I recognize that everyone is on a budget.
Option Two: If you want to take a chance on a riskier method, this image can be mailed in a letter size paper envelope 4" by 9 1/2" for the price of one stamp: 50 cents. I cannot guarantee the safety and condition of it's arrival, but if you prefer this shipping method, simply convo me about Option Two and we will work it out. USA only.
