This is a wonderful transitional necklace, carrying the floral characteristics of Art nouveau and geometrical features of the Art Deco style. Plain brass circles and floral imprinted circles are connected with pressed links. There is some stains here and there and some darkening to the links, which adds character to the piece. The spring clasp is a bit tired but works with a squeak, holds perfectly when positioned in place. (I have another newer gold tone spring clasp that I can replace it with if you prefer) The necklace could be polished for a shinier look if desired, I just don't like to do that to the pretty patina that took many years to build.
Measurement: 15 1/2" (38cm)
Period: c. 1915-1920
Condition: Excellent with some stains and tired spring clasp
