I have improvised this stitch pattern, and I am very pleased with how it worked out in a hat. In this color it reminds me of the deep blue sea, hence the name of the hat.
The pattern is written using AMERICAN CROCHET TERMINOLOGY and has been thoroughly tested and edited. It includes list of abbreviations (with corresponding UK terms), pictures and extra notes to assist you with your project.
Easy to intermediate – well, it is easy, but you need to be fairly comfortable with slip stitch crochet, which is why I have placed it somewhere in-between.
