Emma the green dragon is a product of a storytelling collaboration between myself and writer Tim Sevenhuysen of fiftywordstories.com. I've made a cast of colourful felt creatures, and Tim has written delightful, whimsical stories about their adventures. Emma features in the second of these stories, Leon Makes a Friend:

Just then, Leon heard someone sneeze: "Ah-choo clink clink."
"Who is that?" wondered Leon. "And why did their sneeze go 'clink clink'?" He got up and walked around the tree.
There, on the other side of the tree, was a big, icy igloo.
Leon scratched his head. "What is an igloo doing in the middle of the forest?"

Emma the dragon stands 4 1/4 inches tall from head to toe, and her wings have a maximum span of about 5 1/2 inches. She is entirely hand stitched from felt, with needle felted details in Corriedale wool. She's stuffed with polyester fibers.
