sarawearsskirts: okay, should we begin ?
Messaging reserved for room moderators and admin only.
artsyclay joined the room
sarawearsskirts: okay.
skeletaldropkick left the room
sarawearsskirts: so today's topic is "how to make your team work"
rinnydesign joined the room
sarawearsskirts: coming on the heel's of last week's discussion of "do street teams work?" and goals for street teams, etc.
pinkee joined the room
sarawearsskirts: minutes for past meetings are here, so you can read them later if you haven't already
sarawearsskirts: http://team.etsy.com/workshopschedule.html
sarawearsskirts: these minutes will be posted within the next few days, as well, and
stellaloella: we're hoping for this to be a more open discussion format than a Q&A, but please stay on topic when we open the floor to discussion
sweetpeardesigns joined the room
sarawearsskirts: hopefully our conversation today will prove to be a huge resource
CrochetandStitches joined the room
sarawearsskirts: for people to go back and refer to,
winenutnyc joined the room
sarawearsskirts: and get tips and ideas
sarawearsskirts: on how to organize, run and manage successful teams
sarawearsskirts: this week
sarawearsskirts: we're going to mix it up a bit, and stellaloella and i
GlassCat joined the room
sarawearsskirts: will mainly be posting questions for all of YOU to answer
stellaloella: (hey! that's me)
sarawearsskirts: instead of the other way around
sarawearsskirts: :)
rinnydesign left the room
rinnydesign joined the room
sarawearsskirts: but, as stella said, this will only be useful if we stay on topic,
sarawearsskirts: and positive (for the most part).
sarawearsskirts: so, let's begin with a general question
sarawearsskirts: what is the primary way your street team communicates? (email, convos, forums: on etsy or off etsy, blog, other?)
Messaging enabled.
xiane: yahoo groups
art4milkbones: Hello! flickr
liskidder: EGA uses a forum
rinnydesign: yahoo groups
SoCaliGirl: Convos and off Etsy
lizstaley: Yahoo groups and the forums
willowglass: EGA forum
virtuallori: Currently, Etsy forum. We also just set up a blog.
DewOnAPetal joined the room
aekeith: ega forum :)
creationsinglass joined the room
HelloKnitty: Yahoo groups and googe groups and flickr
groovyglassgirl: ega private forum
GlassCat: ega forum
NatureMadeScents: yahoo groups, forums and blog
shoozles: love our forum
KreatedbyKarina: forums, blog
stellaloella asks, are team blogs helpful? do they attract outside traffic, or are theymeans of communicating within the group?
virtuallori: both
KreatedbyKarina: both
sarawearsskirts: that makes sense.
creationsinglass: team blogs are helpful both for attracting outside buyers and for team updates
willowglass: Yes to both. They attract outside traffic as well as communication within the group
art4milkbones left the room
sarawearsskirts: i was on many of the teams' blogs today, and so many are looking very awesome
pinkee left the room
NatureMadeScents: it's a way for team members to get to know more about each other
stellaloella asks, how many active members does your team have? what percentage of your entire group is this?
abitabite: i think it depends on how you use your blof for exable etsy greetings has a really grat blog to pull people in
sweetpeardesigns left the room
virtuallori: probably a half-dozen active out of 25 or so listed, but we're pretty new.
sarawearsskirts: any estimates?
creationsinglass: We have over 100 members, 75 have registered for our private forum/website, of those 68 have posted, and about 30 or so regulary make it to meetings
rinnydesign: i think 10
lizstaley: I think I usually see about half of EAST's 50-55 members each day on the forums..
SoCaliGirl: 10, and from all over NC, that's about 5% and from the Charlotte area thats about 20%
groovyglassgirl: lis & dee would know best for EGA
xiane: about 10, which is 25% of our group. and by active I mean actually really participate in activities
rinnydesign: i just joined, so i'm not sure yet
sarawearsskirts: virtuallori, which team is that?
tashamck joined the room
virtuallori: Cleveland
KreatedbyKarina: 300 members, and still people are asking to join ...actually active? about 20-30
sarawearsskirts: thanks!
willowglass: EGA has approx. 50 members and half are active (ballpark)
xiane: [that's for egcg]
sarawearsskirts: so, it's normal for not *everyone* on a team to be terribly active
sarawearsskirts: that's good to know, i think
virtuallori: correct
sarawearsskirts: and it makes sense
liskidder: Yeah I'd say that's about right. Half are crazy-active - the other half participates less frequently
creationsinglass: activity has many different levels LOL
stellaloella asks, how many people 'run' your team? one, two, a small group?
JewelryCreations joined the room
willowglass: Two for EGA
NatureMadeScents: a small group
artsyclay left the room
creationsinglass: 3-4 strong leaders for the CGGE
DewOnAPetal: 3-4 for AJC
xiane: egcg: I "run" it but I have several people who "co-run" it.
KreatedbyKarina: 2, really...but other people "run" different parts
liskidder: EGA also has subgroups of people who run different projects
SoCaliGirl: 2 people "run" our overall group
virtuallori: 3-4 of us take initiative
sarawearsskirts: is delegating a challenge?
CrochetandStitches left the room
virtuallori: everywhere!
Chillionaire joined the room
lizstaley: One for us, althought anyone can start our morning thread, which is kind of fun
willowglass: Yes, EGA has members who take on certain projects
HelloKnitty: I just joined trashion but it seems to have a few that run it collectively
stellaloella asks, how do you welcome a new member?
NatureMadeScents: trashion members have been great
creationsinglass: Delegating takes a lot of organization and "help"
rinnydesign left the room
abitabite: ohh good question
groovyglassgirl: we have a section in our forum to welcome
virtuallori: Just a welcome on the forum. EtsyBEAD has a nice welcome letter they send, though.
sarawearsskirts: excellent. do any teams have a standard welcome email or convo, or an FAQ or something?
SoCaliGirl: we invite them to functions
stellaloella: a welcome letter is a nice idea
xiane: I usually post a welcome post in the EGCG yahoogroup and offer my assitance in getting started
willowglass: By private convo first and then later as groovy said we have a welcome area in the EGA forum
GlassCat: they tell us a little about themselves in our forum
creationsinglass: new members get an introductory email/convo requesting email info for them and instructing them how to be active etc, they are also welcomed in our private forums and on Etsy forums when we get a chance
KreatedbyKarina: look at JewelryCreations..we really don't..do we?
shoozles: letter good idea
shoozles: letter good idea
stellaloella asks, how does your team keep organized? member contact info, timeavailability and talents, etc?
liskidder: We send out a welcome letter as well
liskidder: Spreadsheets?
JewelryCreations: No Katrina we don't right now
sarawearsskirts: spreadsheets seem logical
kathiparker left the room
creationsinglass: we have a spreadsheet that is shared by our co-leaders on google documents
SoCaliGirl: Im not sure what Sue or Eileen do in that regard. I know I just get ahold of everyone on the markte via convo
KreatedbyKarina: *reaches up and takes the "t" out of her name :P*
willowglass: yes, spreadsheets for members and dues
virtuallori: We haven't gotten that far yet. Just me keeping track of a couple of e-mail addresses for booth shares and shows,
KreatedbyKarina: we have a list of active members...
sarawearsskirts: any other ideas on keeping people straight / keeping information organized?
neawear: The Trans-Canada Team has over 200 members, it's pretty hard to keep contact without the Teams pages up! We mainly go thru a Frlickr group
JewelryCreations: All our memebers are listed on our Blog and My Space page
creationsinglass: shared spreadsheets and check off prioritized lists and agendas for meetings
xiane: I have forms on our yahoo group
sarawearsskirts: i can't wait til the team pages are up - they will make it easier for teams to keep track of members
willowglass: it's a pretty time-consuming job that needs to be kept on top of
sarawearsskirts: i agree for the time being, willowglass.
sarawearsskirts: organization seems to be half the battle.
NatureMadeScents: we are compiling a list of active members
virtuallori: It's always a challenge. Hope the new team tools will have a good way to do this.
DewOnAPetal left the room
stellaloella asks, what sorts of requirements does your team have of its members?
neawear: Living in canada ;P hehe
sarawearsskirts: and do you keep this organized with the other info?
virtuallori: None, really.
sarawearsskirts: how do you track this?
JewelryCreations: How do you handly "inactive" members? Any suggestion on this?
creationsinglass: 3mo activity rule defined by participation in our private forums, posting at least once in a 3 mo time period
lizstaley: So long as a member follows an Earth-based spiritual path, we'll take them in EAST :)
SoCaliGirl: Living in the Charlotte area
KreatedbyKarina: that they make jewelry (Jewelry On Etsy Street Team)
sarawearsskirts: any participation requirements?
willowglass: EGA requires its members to have the majority of work in the shop be glass created by them (at least 50% must be glass items
tanisalexis joined the room
NatureMadeScents: Trashion asks that you work with recycled, found, etc items
xiane: we're working on a basic standardization for listing requirements in EGCG - FDA mandated disclosure, etc
neawear: tanis!
tanisalexis: Hello!
tanisalexis: hi janick hi everyone
creationsinglass: If no registration or posts to the private forum are made, a letter "warning" them of their impending expiration from the team is sent
haptotrope joined the room
creationsinglass: oh and at least 5 items in the shop must be glass
sarawearsskirts: creationsinglass, how often do members need to post in the forums, or how long before you send a letter?
creationsinglass: (wow it's moving so fast in here)
creationsinglass: The members have to post once in a 3 month period
xiane: we also are looking for a minimum participation amount, once a month or so to check in with us
sarawearsskirts: that seems reasonable
stellaloella asks, do you meet in person? how often?
sarawearsskirts: *for location teams, of course
creationsinglass: We just started this "rule" and a general email or convo will be sent to all members letting them know of this
liskidder: I wish
KreatedbyKarina: never met any of them in person
aekeith: i have met one EGA member
creationsinglass: we discussed it first in our forums and voted on it
SoCaliGirl: We meet once a month in person
xiane: nc etsy meets monthly
virtuallori: A few of us are meeting tomorrow. No formal schedule.
shoozles: meee too Lis
willowglass: Ditto what Lis said
mattskiss99: yep :)
GlassCat: I wanna meet!
creationsinglass: will meet anyone locally anytime :)
virtuallori: Some are taking classes together
stellaloella: if you can't meet in person (due to geography), do you meet "virtually" -- like in a chat room?
sarawearsskirts: philly tries to meet once a month. any other location based teams representing today?
neawear: Canada is a very wide country, so some members meet by region I guess!
sarawearsskirts: or schedule a time in the workshops?
groovyglassgirl: the Vancouver group of Trans Canada has met up a few times
NatureMadeScents: yes, we've had a few chats
KreatedbyKarina: we get together and have open discussion ever week on the forums
KreatedbyKarina: every*
HeyMichelle joined the room
creationsinglass: yes, CGGE meets every Saturday in a chat room, we start with a planned agenda and close with silliness and chat
willowglass: Some EGA members are planning a meet up for next year's Hot Glass Horizons in Corning, NY
craftyalien joined the room
HeyMichelle: hi guys
xiane: yay Michelle
stellaloella asks, what types of goals does your team have?
tanisalexis: yup canadians are meeting up regionally - need to connect more with the provinci9al team leaders
creationsinglass: Our weekly chats are getting more popular, we had at least 20 at the last one, may need to move to the workshop soon
willowglass: To bring handmade glass work more recognition
virtuallori: Nothing formal, just booth shares, info sharing, socialization for now.
tashamck: The Richmond, Virginia Team is just started gearing up for actual events - our meetings so far have been based on participation in planning our upcoming Craft Swap
xiane: currently EGCG is looking to bring more education to our buyers and bath and body enthusiasts
sarawearsskirts: to schedule a workshop time, you can email me at teams@etsy.com
liskidder: To make it easier to find handmade glass work on Etsy
NatureMadeScents: we've just started compiling a list of potential projects
groovyglassgirl: to bring together people that have a "passion" for glass work
tanisalexis: all canadian all handmade
KreatedbyKarina: we're planning a Team-Wide Holiday Sale in November thru December--that takes up a lot of time right now...as well as putting together a Newsletter
HelloKnitty: I know M.I.C.E. is planning on more craft shows
neawear: Trans-Can's next goal I guess is waiting for me (redoing the image os the team! lol)
tanisalexis: lol janick
creationsinglass: Primary goals: Increase exposure to our shops and Etsy via website, groups, etc, secondary goals, to support each other, mentor, ask & answer questions etc
SoCaliGirl: Well, NC Etsy street teams goals are to basically create a bond.
neawear: hehe tanis
willowglass: to educate the public on glasswork
tanisalexis: power in numbers? :)
SoCaliGirl: I guess most of its members also want to have a successful market.
neawear: lol i guess tani
lizstaley: Successful market would be good. :)
SoCaliGirl: Other than that, I dont think it has any goals
aekeith: i agree
sarawearsskirts: these are all great goals.
willowglass: and to teach each other
tashamck: I'm hoping most of the Richmond Area Etsy Folks will come out to the Craft Swap in September . . .
tanisalexis: here here liz
sarawearsskirts asks, how often do you check the blog at http://team.etsy.com?
willowglass: daily
SoCaliGirl: 2-3 times a week
tanisalexis: not often enough i guess
KreatedbyKarina: rarely
virtuallori: every other day
groovyglassgirl: education is a good one Dee, we want folks to be able to recognize quality glasswork
HelloKnitty: weekly
shoozles: everyday
aekeith: not a log
aekeith: lot
xiane: I have it on rss feed, so I know when it's updated
lizstaley: Not often enough
neawear: When there's a new post (yay for RSS feeds)
NatureMadeScents: every couple of days
tashamck: Our main goal right now is to actually be more active.
sarawearsskirts: it's now being updated at least 5 times a week
craftyalien: when i remember which is not a lot
sarawearsskirts: so you can check it and find something new almost every day
SoCaliGirl: Rock on
creationsinglass: try to do it daily at this point, we just set up a new "resource" page on our website with links to important sites, such as Etsy Blog, team page, etsytools, etc
xiane: bloglines is my friend for things like that
GlassCat: couple times a week
sarawearsskirts: (best kept secret on etsy is http://team.etsy.com!)
creationsinglass asks, Is there a list of resources such as indie blogs and websites that we can advertise Etsy and our team promos on for free?
groovyglassgirl: couple times a week
sarawearsskirts: creationsinglass, that's a good question
sarawearsskirts: this is something we're working on for the near future.
xiane: mmm, I love that question!
tanisalexis: me too
shoozles: that would be great!
HeyMichelle: great question
neawear: i got one to share, lemme find the link, its a directory
creationsinglass: :0 thanks
sarawearsskirts: the storque will be a good resource for lots of information and events.
aekeith: awesome!
HeyMichelle: the best way to find blogs, I think, is just to search for ones that are interested in they types of things your team makes
sarawearsskirts: not so much advertising as much as content and features about teams and other aspects of the indie / handmade community
neawear: http://www.indieyellowpages.com
AshleyJacobsen left the room
tanisalexis: we're still working on solid canadian targets
sarawearsskirts: thanks, neawear!
willowglass: thanks, neawear :)
AshleyJacobsen joined the room
HeyMichelle: thanks, neawear
neawear: http://www.indiecollective.net/
neawear: my pleasure!
sarawearsskirts: i try to update the events calendar on the team pages about once a week, so that's useful to check to find events that are happening
JewelryCreations: thanks neawear
neawear: :D
stellaloella asks, how often do you check the team profile pages at http://team.etsy.com?
shoozles: you rock nearwear
stellaloella: oops repeat
tanisalexis: you know I love having you around nea ;)
neawear: lol shoozles
liskidder: Frequently :)
creationsinglass: team profile, not so often...
winenutnyc left the room
HeyMichelle: Now *I* check the profile pages all the time
stellaloella asks, is your team's page there reasonably up to date? do you check there fornew names of members?
virtuallori: not very often. They're not very useful right now. (sorry)
KreatedbyKarina: just did Stella..lol..wanted to ensure our team profile was up there
neawear: lol tanis
liskidder: oh the profile pages
xiane: ours needs updating
liskidder: not often
tanisalexis: no! ours is so behind!
xiane: but sara's going to get an email with that info today :D
lizstaley: EAST's page was updated a few days ago.
neawear: I check the Trans-Can Flickr group ofen for new members
HelloKnitty: rarely
NatureMadeScents: the list of new members for trashion needs a little updating...we're growing fast!
creationsinglass: our banner is up, but the member list is not current, it's on my to do list to send an update
stellaloella: if your page is not up to day, please email teams@etsy.com
sarawearsskirts: (i admit i'm a couple days behind, so if you've email an update in the past 4 days or so, i might not have gotten to it yet)
stellaloella: so sara can update it
HeyMichelle: yes! thank you, stella! I wanted to give a ahem about updating those team pages
tanisalexis: I got tuckered out sending so many updates- guiltguilt
sarawearsskirts: yes, i'd love for them all to be as current as possible
neawear: I think the Trans-Can list is SO not up to date, we have like 200 members, right Tanis?
sarawearsskirts: i do eventually get to all the updates, even if it take a couple days
neawear: I mean on the etsy street team page
neawear: not on flickr
tanisalexis: yup
stellaloella: (the profile pages are a useful resource for the etsy staff, too, by the way!)
virtuallori: No. I'm still not listed for EtsyBEAD, even though I joined over a month ago
sarawearsskirts: if you have an off-etsy site that your team uses - a flickr group or yahoo group or anything
HelloKnitty joined the room
HelloKnitty left the room
sarawearsskirts: please send it to me at teams@etsy.com so i can update it
SoCaliGirl: Im still not on NC Etsy and off of San Diego
xiane: sara, you're doing a great job with updates.
sarawearsskirts: that's pretty important
tanisalexis: yay! We'll try to do this asap
neawear: great tanis thansk :)
SoCaliGirl: rock on. I will send it again Sara
creationsinglass asks, is anyone creating or wants to help create an Etsy Wiki with tips to organize and manage a successful street team?
stellaloella: please!
sarawearsskirts: another great question...
tanisalexis: I think both tomate and I are really pooped out from the group so we are 'officially' on holiday. ;)
sarawearsskirts: we love when people put useful things in the wiki!
EtsyTrainee: Absolutely!
neawear: tanis, thats ok, everyone needs a break once in a while :)
stellaloella: http://etsywiki.com is a valuable tool for sharing info
sarawearsskirts: the transcanada team is pretty amazing, though!
tanisalexis: thx nea. xo
stellaloella: anyone can add or edit an article on the etsywiki
neawear: aww sara is sweet hehe
xiane: once I'm not totally overloaded, I'd love to help with the wiki
tanisalexis: it is?? sara- I feel like I flounder with it so much!haha
creationsinglass: xiane, same here, LOL
sarawearsskirts: :) i need to get in that wiki more often
SoCaliGirl: I will help with the wiki once the market is done with
xiane: I'm like... buried in events right now :D
sarawearsskirts: excellent! the wiki should be a great tool
stellaloella: awesome, thanks :)
sarawearsskirts: we love any and all useful input there
SoCaliGirl asks, when putting on events, how many teams use a hierarchy of Chair, co-chair and volunteers?
creationsinglass: Maybe we can delegate to some of our team members to start writing specific small articles on key points for the street team wiki?
sarawearsskirts: creationsinglass, that would be excellent.
EtsyTrainee: Hey, also, if you have notions on how to better -organize- street team sections of the wiki but aren't sure how to do it yourself, drop me a convo or write up on my talk page, on the Wiki. =D
KreatedbyKarina: our team usually asks for volunteers
sarawearsskirts: thanks, robwhite / etsytrainee!
virtuallori: Always better to have a designated leader or two.
SoCaliGirl: How do you avoid the too many chiefs problem?
NatureMadeScents: we have a leader, and many worker bees
creationsinglass: designated leader, and several "supporters" co-leads
tanisalexis: Would it be a stupid idea to have a place we can make a call-out for volunteers for our teams? eg: team blog?
KreatedbyKarina: well those who volunteer for certain projects can then recruit others to help them
sarawearsskirts: tanis, i don't think that's a bad idea. i like it.
creationsinglass: the too many chiefs hasn't been an issue for us, it's usually lack of activity or the same people volunteerting, LOL
xiane: mmm, I like that idea.
neawear: awesome idea
HeyMichelle: also, a tip about being the leader if no one is volunteering- ask specific people to do something
JewelryCreations: same here creationsinglass
tanisalexis: basically what creations has just said. :)
willowglass: keeping everyone motivated is sometimes a problem
sarawearsskirts: if you're a team leader, or a core member of a team, it's helpful to do a quick forum search on occasion in the forums.
abitabite: i need a volunteer to start a team hahah
sarawearsskirts: ie, i search for philly sometimes, to see if people are seeking out the team
HeyMichelle: a haha!
tanisalexis: we need to 'hire someone Solely for the forums LOL!
neawear: hahha
creationsinglass: whenever someones suggests something, I then "delegate" or suggest that they "own" it and write us up a description of what they want to do, it works well :)
stellaloella: it's also useful to survey your team members and see who is interested in or has skills for different area. the leader doesn't need to do *everything* :)
HeyMichelle: great idea, creations
mattskiss99: good idea
SoCaliGirl: creations, I like that idea
stellaloella: (or ditto creationsinglass. hah)
xiane: that's been a big problem for me until recently - I was doing too much. :D
sarawearsskirts: yes - figuring out where people's talents lie is a big key to delegating
tashamck left the room
SoCaliGirl: Xiane, same here
tanisalexis: I find I tried what creations has done- and it usually winds up hitting a brick wall.
sarawearsskirts: we'd hate to see great leaders burnt out
creationsinglass: example, at our recent chat, a member suggested a new promo/challenge, and I asked her to write it up, got it this week and we're a go for September!
neawear: we are too much people Tanis
tanisalexis: haha tell me- *burnt out* ;) ;)
neawear: hard to keep contact
tanisalexis: true-
xiane: delegating is hard but essential
creationsinglass: nail em down in front of others :) then follow up repeatedly if needed :)
sarawearsskirts: this is a great discussion.
abitabite: how do yu avoid the leader getting all the "stuuf" left in thier lap
tanisalexis: I love to delegate. hahaha, I'm bossy.
sarawearsskirts: any last questions from you all?
neawear: lol
HeyMichelle: ok, need to send an OT link to abitabite: http://etsylabs.blogspot.com/2007/08/crafting-together-for-local-cause.html
SoCaliGirl: I've had to delegate out some of these tasks.. It has to be people I trust though
creationsinglass: I'm bossy too, LOL
sarawearsskirts: before we ask *our* last question?
KreatedbyKarina: yes--question for Sara..
sarawearsskirts: sure
abitabite: i run a voluteer gallery here and as president my lap gets a lot dumped in it
MelissaSue joined the room
tashamck joined the room
neawear: well, when will the team page be the New one? I know, never-ending question lol
tanisalexis: heh.
sarawearsskirts: HA. neawear, i ask people that same question like every day.
neawear: lol
sarawearsskirts: :)
KreatedbyKarina: a bit ago on the forums you'd asked interested Street Teams to email you if interested in holding a trunk show at the Labs early next year...wondering what the criteria is for choosing a team to do that, and what the ETA is for getting a response whether we are selected for one?
stellaloella: we do not yet have a timeline on the new Community section (team pages) for the site
pixelparty joined the room
liskidder: Are you guys currently working on it, or is it still in the goal-but not working on it stage?
KreatedbyKarina: (at least I THINK it was you asking)
sarawearsskirts: we're in the process of posting an application for the trunk shows.
neawear: ok thanks stella, in 2007 hopefully? :P
sarawearsskirts: michelle in the labs (heymichelle) is the labs admin in charge ofthe trunk shows
HeyMichelle: ah, yes, trunk show application...going up very soon, hopefully!
stellaloella: i'm hoping as soon as possible. :) (but honestly, no date has been given to me yet)
creationsinglass: to delegate successfully, I have to be well organized first to realize where, who and how I can get/need help
KreatedbyKarina: ok I was asking because our Team Leader said she'd filled one out almost 2 weeks ago and never heard back..that she already filled out an "application"..or is this a new one?
neawear: ok thanks stella :)
creationsinglass: and it does have to be someone trustworthy
sarawearsskirts: mmm... i'm not sure there ever was an applicationfor shows before...
HeyMichelle: There was no previous application...this is the only one!
SoCaliGirl: creations that's also what I do
sarawearsskirts: but we'll make it very public when we post it
KreatedbyKarina: ok thanks --- where would the application be posted when it goes online?
sarawearsskirts: i'll post about it at http://team.etsy.com. and we'll mention it in the forums for sure
KreatedbyKarina: thanks
sarawearsskirts: it'll be somewhere on the teams pages, i think
sarawearsskirts: we'll let you know
stellaloella asks, any general tips for running a well-oiled machine team?
KreatedbyKarina: drink lots of coffee?
liskidder: Avoid sleep?
mattskiss99: lol
willowglass: keep communicating
aekeith: communication and choclate
creationsinglass: have fun, your enthusiam will carry over to your team :)
xiane: keep organized
tanisalexis: wireless internet
neawear: be free
neawear: lol
SoCaliGirl: Good communication
virtuallori: have a sense of humor
MelissaSue: delegate and play nice
HeyMichelle: getting everyone involved
HelloKnitty: keeping lines of communication open
sarawearsskirts: (mm, chocolate.)
tanisalexis: free stuff :)
abitabite: have cupcakes at meetings
KreatedbyKarina: yes--even those who think they aren't good at anything, can always help in some aspect
MelissaSue: wine and / or beer
xiane: i want cupcakes!
creationsinglass: don't be afraid to ask for help :)
tashamck: set goals!
virtuallori: cupcakes AND wine
aekeith: deadlines
HeyMichelle: yes, goals!
pixelparty: do most teams use just etsy forums or do a lot of teams have external websites?
sarawearsskirts: deadlines is a good one.
liskidder: EGA uses both
MelissaSue: goals! very good.
neawear: nooo deadlines (tanis) lol *just kidding!
