Autumn......my favorite time of year! A time of changing colors, falling leaves and those leaves crunching under foot while walking in the early morning, taking in the beauty of the changing of the season. This season always brings memories of homemade soup simmering all day and that wonderful aroma filling the house, greeting all who come in the door, chili and football games on the weekend, quiet times sitting by the fire, wrapped in a warm afghan as I read a good book or watched a favorite movie. My boys are grown but the memories of their excitement trying to decide what they want to be for Halloween makes me smile. November brought the bounty of Thanksgiving when family came together for the big turkey dinner of too much food, the all day football games and then playing pinochle with Mom and Dad, ending the wonderful day of festivities. Then Christmas, the best of all. A time with family and friends and being grateful for our blessings for the year that was ending and looking forward to the beginning of a new year. As you may have guessed with my reflections, this time of year sends me deeper into my heart and soul, realizing how fast time seems to be passing with each year but with that comes a deeper understanding of how much I appreciate and honor each wonderful day, knowing those wonderful memories will remain in my heart with plenty of room for the new ones.

That being said, welcome to my shop. When I opened the shop, I was working part time and had an abundant amount of time to work on projects. I have much less time for my passion of creating since beginning a more demanding full time job in January. I have come to realize that my passion of creating is the very thing that brings me back to harmony and peace at the end of a hectic day. So I will still be creating new things but at a slower pace. I think my Grandma as it seemed she was always sewing or crocheting something. I started by making doilies, then afghans and am always looking for something new to make. A few years ago I began making collectible bears under the name CWHuggleyBears.

My cousin, Linda, will be putting items for sale on the shop also. She compliments what I do as her expertise is far different than what I offer. She is very knowledgeable in all things antique such as jewelry and clothing.

I appreciate every one that has purchased something from the shop. I hope you will find something in the future that you love and must have. I do not make duplicates so all items I offer will be one of a kind. Please stay as long as you wish because we are happy to have you here.

Sincerely,
Cindy
