8-bit Classics is a collective shop shared by two pixel artists Melissa and Ben. Most of the art in this shop is made using perler beads or mini hama beads (imported). Some are hand painted or incorporated with chainmail by the artists.

I’m a girl of many interests including painting, drawing, chainmailing, crafting and of course gaming. My love for games got me hooked on making pixel creations and game related art. Most of what I make is small and cute, but occasionally I will make larger pixel creations. I also enjoy hand painting some of the figures along or incorporating chainmail into the mix to make things like jewelry. I also make all of the odds and ends in the shop such as the needle felted items, clay items, and glass etched items.

Gaming has been my favorite thing ever since I was attached to my NES as a small child. I try to take my love for games and the characters in them and replicate them in the form of bead sprites. My designs are mostly exact duplicates from the game sprites. However, there are few that are my own designs. Apart from selling sprites individually, I love making sets that represent a certain scene from a particular game or groupings of particular characters. I'm also more than happy to do commissions. So please don't be afraid to ask for anything you may want. I'll find a way to make it for you.
