You may recognize the term "Allegro" as a musical term, meaning "brightly, with life", and I like to think that refers to everything I do.

I came to making jewelry through an unusual route: I started as a musician. I got into musical instrument repair, and found that much of the tools, equipment and techniques were also used in making jewelry. From there I went into working with silver. I've been doing origami for 12 years, and came up with the idea to combine the two hobbies.

Since I started folding origami from silver, I've been invited to participate in art shows and sold items to collectors around the world. I even have a piece in the Irish National Museum in Dublin.
