"Geek with artistic tendencies" That's how I often describe myself. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters, and we love to cook and eat amazing food.
I've worked as a tech/science visualization consultant for years, but recently returned to grad school in Computer Science. At the same time I've been expressing my artistic self.
Some things I do: artistically amplified visualizations of particle collision simulations. Hand embroidered cell diagrams. Shiny beads! I can't resist shiny beads.
I love combining high-tech and low-tech, and I'm completely addicted to experimenting with soft-circuits and physical computing. Look for items incorporating led lights in my shop...soon.
