Hello and welcome to Andewyn Jewelry!

I'm Adrienne, the metalsmith and designer behind Andewyn Jewelry. I began designing jewelry in 2007 after I attended my first bead and stone show. Fabricating adornments was a form of expression that appealed to me on so many levels. I've always loved working with my hands, so the tools required thrilled me. I've also always been drawn to the Native American silversmiths with their descriptive and organic use of metal and stone... their work isn't just an inanimate object to be worn, it lives and breathes with the wearer, becoming an extension of the person and an expression of their soul. I never dreamed I could work in the medium, but after that first bead show, my life was changed.

I'm always learning and discovering new and wonderful things in this work. My goal is to create pieces that will not just be worn, but become an extension of the wearer, an expression of their soul and cherished for years to come .

My inspiration is the natural world: the deserts of the southwest; the incredibly changing landscapes of California; the openness of the land in Big Sky country; my travels across the water to lands that are similar to my home, and yet so wonderfully different; my beloved Smoky Mountains; the stars, planets, galaxies, the magnitude of this universe. I am always amazed.
