A note on why I left Etsy: It's a wonderful tool, and I've so enjoyed connecting with people here! I'll continue to buy handmade through Etsy, but as far as selling...well, it wasn't working. And since I'm a Web designer, I have been able to create my shop on my own Web site. Not everyone can do that (I couldn't at first!) so that and community are where Etsy's attraction lies in many respects, I think. That aspect is something I do miss at times, but I needed to strike out on my own and get away from the Etsy "feel" in my shop. So there you have it. :)
