My interest in art began at a young age. I was making jewelry, award winning paintings, and sculptures as a hobby. I was also very involved with creating the layouts and the cover art for the school’s yearbooks. My interest in art began at a young age. I was making jewelry, award winning paintings, and sculptures as a hobby. I was also very involved with creating the layouts and the cover art for the school’s yearbooks. Later, I was accepted by the Vancouver School of Arts and Academics where my training focused on the visual arts. On my journey I worked full time creating art and advertisements for the college, Northwest Women Magazine, Artist Café, and other local businesses. I soon realized that my artistic background was more than a mere hobby.

I spent the following year after graduation creating advertisements for Home Team Sports Publication. The advertisements I created revitalized the publications sponsorships, helping to drive increased revenues for their business. Unfortunately, the company folded as so many other small businesses have due to the tough economic environment over the past couple of years. With the conditions of the local job market , I migrated to a freelance business model utilizing the Internet. I now create website designs, advertisements, and corporate identities for companies in their infancy around the country.
