Woodworking has been part of my life since I first moved away from home as a young adult. I had the good fortune to enjoy a 15 year career as a professional ballet dancer, retiring from that field at the age of 32. Since then I have given everything over to woodworking, starting a business in February of 2011 and moving into my current facility, a converted warehouse shared with several other talented woodworkers, the following year. I have been milling and drying the wood that I use since the turn of the millennium. Most of it comes from my parents' vineyard in West Virginia but is more frequently coming from neighbors' yards here in Pittsburgh. There are two main branches of BANDY Woodworks: pre-made toys and other useful items, which you will find in the Etsy shop, and custom furniture.
