I am an Iowa native who lived in the state about 40 years and who has lived in Texas for about 20 years. November 2010, I moved to South Dakota so now I am a Sioux Falls Artist.

I still paint whimsical palm trees as well as assorted other whimsical trees. I love trees and leaves so I usually have one in my seascapes, landscapes & cloudscapes. I've been told I am a tree painter :)

I am a hobby photographer as well as a Professional Artist. I love reading, learning new art techniques and learning more about already known to me techniques.

Art is a growing, learning and social experience for me that never stops being fun for me. I enjoy meeting other artists and seeing the incredible artwork others create.
