Creativity bloomed when, as a latch key kid, I filled the time designing clothing for my paper dolls.

This led to studies at Toledo Museum of Art, University of Toledo, Wayne State University (M.Ed.), University of Hawaii, Hilo and Volcano Art Institute. I have taught in Middle School, High School, and San Diego Community College (arts and crafts).

For years I have prowled antique stores, yard sales, flea markets, rummage sales and thrift shops for unusual items that tickle my fancy. Alas, there are just too many.


The love of history, art and culture merge into delightful pieces of art to wear or display with pride. Materials are carefully selected to create inexpensive, unique, durable original little works of art.
