Hello and welcome to DiNofrio Handbags formaly known as Bela Bags!

In August 2008 I started Bela Bags, when, at a local farmers' market, I set up a tent and sold my bags. The response was so great, I started selling at craft shows in the fall and through out the holiday season, all over Vermont. In Aug of 2009 I started my Etsy Shop. I still sell locally at farmers' markets and craft shows.

I learned to sew from my mother, who is very crafty. She quilts, sews beautiful clothes for my niece and nephew, and makes bags and anything else you can think of.

I design and handcraft every bag myself in a smoke free, pet friendly in-home studio in Woodstock, VT. I can custom make any of the bags in any color / pattern combination you would like.

The name Bela comes from my beautiful black cat named after Bela Lugosi, a nod to my former career as a Special Effects Make-up Artist. I love to create and I love handbags, that is how Bela Bags was born. I am inspired by the places I go and the things I see.
