I found true joy in my life when I unleashed my creativity. It wasn’t always this way, and it took me till my late 20′s to figure out I needed to be making stuff (and make a living doing it) to be happy.

I’m now a very happy full-time creative and entrepreneur.

I blog on EpheriellDesigns.com every day about craft, vintage fashion, handmade things, running an indie business, and all things creative.

I make jewellery under the brand Epheriell (modern, sterling silver designs), and also under the brand Vintette (cute, sweet, quirky vintage and vintage-inspired jewellery).

I publish/edit the handmade/art/craft zine *bespoke*

I’m obsessed with vintage – especially 50s dresses.

I’m a regular columnist for Scoutie Girl.

I’m a cat-mama, wife to my fabulous stay-at-home husband, Nick, and I live in the countryside in Queensland, Australia. I love waking up each morning to the silence – only broken by the bird-song (including kookaburras!)

In my previous life, I attained 3 Bachelor’s Degrees (in Science, Arts and Education) and I’ve worked as a teacher, science communicator, and manager. I don’t use much of the *content* of my degrees in my life these days – but the lessons I was taught about how to learn help me every day.
