Blue Horse came into existence with the creation of a single abstract painting of a wonderful horse named Raven.
Raven entered my life when he was twelve and I was thirty-eight. He was a beautiful dark bay thoroughbred gelding with great spirit, a sense of humor, an opinion on everything and a whole lot of attitude! (All this for the price of one dollar). Definitely very challenging for me, the first time horse owner, but luckily I had an extremely knowledgeable and very committed barn manager who repeatedly stepped in to save the day.
Over the years I was able to learn from Raven, and not just ‘horse stuff’ but also a lot about myself. Once I was willing to open my mind to him and pay attention he taught me many valuable and sometimes difficult lessons. For this I thank him and will always be grateful.
