About

Art and painting have always been part of my world. The result of my artist mother, a warm, South American home and the fact that my youth was spent in Mexico City, my art comes from being exposed to a rich, exciting and colorful world which I take with me everywhere.

Art and painting have always been part of my world. The result of my artist mother, a warm, South American home and the fact that my youth was spent in Mexico City, my art comes from being exposed to a rich, exciting and colorful world which I take with me everywhere.

After I was graduated from the Art College in Ramat Hasharon, my path has been clear and easy. I tried everything – drawing, sculpturing, photography and print-making. The knowledge I acquired I passed on as an art teacher. But after a number of years in education, I decided to take an independent path.
In 1999; I started selling at the famous Israeli art and craft market, Shook Nachlat Binyamin. I combined influences from my mother's home and the Yiddish from my grandfather and grandmother's house with accessories for the home. The Yiddish was the language spoken by the Jew in America and Europe but Yiddish is not just a language it is an all culture. The items’ uniqueness comes from Yiddish humor.
The work is done using high-quality materials and paying close attention to non toxic acrylic colors – every item is children and environment friendly.
My style is a combination of old and new, printed handmade collages from the past which tell a story and come together with precise, detailed, clean work till the very last step.
In my collection you'll find, among other things: magnetic blackboards, a vintage breadbox, photo album boxes, recipe boxes, boards for hanging and others
