It brings me great joy to create art in paint, pastels, mosaics, stained glass, and collage. My background in art is a degree in Studio Art with focus in printmaking and painting from the University of Texas. I've held various jobs in the graphic arts and have pursued fine art when possible. There's quite a creative arts bloodline through my Dad's family--- jewelers, painters, mosaicists and metal workers. I remember being fascinated by the mosaic furniture and fountains I saw at my aunt's house in Houston in the 50's. I'm grateful for all the influences and opportunities I've had in my lifetime which go into making my creative side and the ability to pursue the arts to the degree that I do.
