In our home "Bugga" means baby. And we sure do love Buggas in our house! Our first BuggaLove, born September 2006, inspired our designs for our line of BuggApparel. Our second BuggaLove, born in August 2008, inspired our line of nursery décor. Bugga #3 arrived in November 2010!

My name is Jessica and I am the owner and designer behind BuggaLove. Formerly a higher education administrator, I decided to become a stay-at-home-mom in December 2006. Seeking a creative outlet, I established an online selling presence on Etsy in March 2007. I create each product in my home studio in Red Hill, PA.

BuggaLove went out of business at the end of 2011.

Many people have asked...why did I move shops?
1) I didn't think my old shop name was easy enough to find or spell.
2) Most people thought that my name was "Alaine" instead of it being "A. Laine" - my daughter.
3) I had named it after my daughter when she was an only child and now I have 2 sons too! I felt bad to have something so important to me named after her that wouldn't include her siblings.
