I am a stay-at-home mom with a cuddly baby boy. I have been sewing since I was a little girl and went on to receive a B.A. in textiles and fibers design. I am schooled in fashion design as well.

My husband and I just recently moved back to the USA after living in Kathmandu, Nepal for a few years. There, we worked with a Christian mission, serving the poor by creating relief and development programs for street children and destitute women. My Nepali sisters gave me the nickname "chuli buli" (which affectionately means "busy body"), because I was constantly working on projects and making, baking or sewing things for people. The name stuck because it rhymes with my name, making me Chuli Buli Julie.

When I had my son, I wanted to buy cute little gifts for him in themes that reflected my husband and me, after all he's our creation! So I hope I can do that for you as well.
