My hobbies include wood working, home improvement projects, gardening, and fishing.
I have always loved wood -it's a natural!

I live in the Coast Range of Oregon surrounded by 20 acres of timber. I have added on additions to my home with cedar shingles. Working with wood in the woods is where I feel the closest connection to nature.

I find many of our household items at thrift shops and love to challenge myself to improve or refinish these items to new and higher standards.

The old saying"One man's junk is another man's treasure" is what I live by. Living simply so others can simply live. I love the hunt for treasures in the rough!

I love the many different types of wood and their special qualities each has to offer. I really enjoy putting together different wood colors and will try to come up with as many varieties of usable board shapes to compliment the woods involved.

Many of my woods are from discounted hobby pieces, cabinet stores rejects or other sources to keep in same theme as the way I live. Reclaiming or enhancing discarded woods scraps.

I am in the process of making many different wood products so keep on checking the site.

My wife Kathy helps with many of the products, she is an artist and art teacher .
The wood pieces that are more whimsical, hand carved and colorfully painted are her design work.

We are a great team and can accommodate any wood design and finish you might have in mind.
