I took my first metalsmithing class in 2007 and fell in love with the process of creating with metal. The possibilities and endless combinations of color, texture and style are so inspiring, if not a little daunting! Beyond taking a couple of classes, I am largely self taught and have had a marvelous time experimenting with smithing and developing my personal style.

I am endlessly inspired by women. The strength of a woman, her uniqueness and energy, are always the catalyst for a new design.

I was born and raised in Alaska, where a woman’s natural beauty and strength is celebrated in a way that I wish would hold true and strong in our greater society today. In designing jewelry, I always keep the Alaskan woman in mind. Unique, organic, adventurous, and above all, naturally ravishing!

I aim to create jewelry that is fresh, elegant and original. I have an organic approach to jewelry design, in that I enjoy celebrating the beauty of imperfection. I design each piece from raw materials, such as sterling silver, 14k goldfilled, and 14k and 18k solid gold, while keeping a clean and minimalist aesthetic. The rich colors and glowing textures are complimented by clean lines and an air of simplicity. My hope is to create jewelry that is classic and timeless!

I adore my baby girl and super deluxe husband, peace, being in love, baking, picking raspberries, fresh flowers, Koot(my pup), high heels, rice pudding, Isla Mujeres, laughing with my sisters, Netflix, girlfriends, fresh air, dancing, hiking when there is a lake at the end of the trail.
