About

I am originally from NY, but now hail from the West coast, living in sunny San Diego. I still wished I lived at the equator, where it's hotter and moister!

I have 2 cats, Wolfegar and Jackal, they are hours of entertainment, and like to help me with all my projects!!!

I started sewing when I was 7 years old, when I told my mother I needed a new christmas stocking and she told me I would have to make it myself.

On the spot, she showed me the sewing machine, how it worked, and all it's moving parts saying, "never touch the tension!"

I went to school at SUNY Fredonia and studied under some of the best teachers anyone could have. They were professional, funny, and always asked the most of me. While at Fredonia, I fell in love with dying fabrics, and have continued that love...

While at Fredonia, I fell in love with dying fabrics, and have continued that love over the last, ahem, many years. I have my BA in Theatre Arts Costume Design and a minor in Photography.

I work with many mediums, but prefer Silk as it takes the best colors and allows for the most artistic expression in all ways.

I continue to hone my craft as a pattern maker, and love the challenges of a new project in areas I don't often visit. I find it makes me a better designer over all. Go where I am uncomfortable and I will grow!

Anyway, that is a bit about me. Thank you for stopping by my store, and please, if you like my work, add me to your favorites!
