Hi! I am a Mexico native currently living in San Antonio, TX. In Real Life I needlefelt all day; secretly I wish I were some manner of zoologist.

My creturs are created by a process called needle felting, which consists of poking wool repeatedly with a barbed needle, making the fibers lock together. I hand-dye most of my wool.

I've been itching to make alebrijes and other creatures for a long time, and have experimented with various methods — knitting, crochet, sewing, Sculpey, papier maché. When I discovered the intuitive and immediate sculptural qualities of needle felting, I decided that was the way to go.
