About

Cuff Linq UnCommon. As the name suggests, I make cufflinks - uncommon cufflinks. It began as a mild interest in the enduring accessory. I then began thinking about how I might make cuff links if I ran the cuff link factory - just a few nebulous ideas at first, and then sketches in my Moleskine notebook. Sketches turned into balsa wood, and wax models. Before long I was making prototypes in a variety of materials - precious metals, gemstones, wood, steel, concrete, etc. I liked what I was coming up with, and so did the people to whom I was showing them. I use a variety of techniques and materials to produce some rather - if I may be redundant - UnCommon cuff links. Though I do use an occasional toggle - the traditional, or common, method used on most cuff links - most of my designs use some other, UnCommon mechanism to attach the cuff link to the cuff. I am excited about joining ETSY and adding to my product offering over the coming weeks and months. Please check back often to see what new innovation has been added.
