Hello! Welcome to my store!

My name is Sarah and I reside in Vermont, in a beautiful river valley between the Green Mountains and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I sew simply deisgned quilts, wall hangings, home decor, and stuffed animals. I love the simple life, and this naturally reflects in my work. My pattern selection generally seems plain, but I love taking basic patterns and turning them on their heads, like rearranging the expected layout or adding my own bit of flair with buttons or hand embroidery. I work in a smoke free, pet free environment. I do have curly hair though, and try as hard as I do to avoid this getting on my work, I'm not always successful. :)

My grandmother taught me to quilt when I went to visit her one summer, and I've been hooked ever since. She continues to be an inspiration to me as I have grown as a quilter. One of her favorite sayings is "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!" While many of my pieces use new fabrics, I try to keep this saying at the heart of all my work, like incorporating scraps from previous projects into current ones.

I am a busy mom of two little ones, so as much as I love creating, my attention is constantly needed elsewhere. Typically I work in creative bursts; which means that I may go months without adding new items. However, when I do get going I get a lot done! At this time, I am only able to take custom orders on my stuffed animals. Even then, this service will be strictly available only when my personal life is able to handle it. I am always able to add personal labels to my quilts for an extra $5 fee. Just send me a convo and let me know what you would like it to say.
