Inspiration often comes from photos, my own and those I find on the web, usually on sites devoted to favorite pets, odd hobbies or geneology.

When I'm drawing I listen to BBC 7 Radio Online or books on tape which I select primarily by the readers - my favorites being Ian Carmicheal and Barbara Rosenblat.

When I'm printing I listen to NPR or to my Kitchen Sink mix in iTunes which is composed of not only every CD in the household but unlabled mixed CD's friends send. On a regular basis something will come on which I'd swear I'd never heard before and can not identify leading to much idle musing as to where it...

Heavy weight paper, 3B pencils, India ink, hard grain woodblocks, battle ship lino blocks, lead type and obsolete dingbats, photopolymer plates, blank film negatives, Exacto knives, German and Japanese wood cutting tools

Among these recent mysteries include a Michelob Beer jingle from possibly the mid 60's or 70's, where in tonight only has to be "kind of special" for it to be right for Michelob and "that song about the footsteps" the best guess so far being that it's an ABC tune from the 80's.

I usually read magazines from back to front because it's more interesting that way, have no tattoos yet (though I've designed them for other people), love pumpkin flavored ice cream, don't own a rabbit but do have a tail-less calico cat.
