About

It's probably safe to say I was born with it in my blood...the love of all things retro and nostalgic. As a young girl I would go to salvage yards with my Dad and search for keys that had fallen out of the car's ignition. The ultimate prize was if the key had a keychain still attached. That small collection I accumulated is probably still at my parent's house, hidden away somewhere. What remains with me is the love I have for these pieces of a past I wasn't around to live in.

I've gone to college and have since graduated and have a career in graphic design.

I started my Etsy shop initially dabbling in painting (which to be honest I've always been hardest on myself with this medium). Being my own worst critic started getting the best of me when I decided to design some announcements and invitations. These were right up my alley, but I started finding myself seeing this as more of an extension of work rather than an opportunity to be artistic in other mediums.

After having several conversation with my Dad about a couple local salvage yards, we arranged to spend a day together so I could take some pictures. I was anxious with anticipation and walked away with 330-some pictures that day. I had finally found it...I had the excitement I had been missing in my other artistic expirimentations! This brings us to my shop as you see it today. I hope that you too can look at these images, enjoy and appreciate the character each subject has to offer.
