Like many young boys growing up in the 1950s and 60s, I was obsessed with the idea of space travel, space exploration, and what seemed then the real possibility of encountering alien life. I gladly ponied up my 25-cent allowance each time a new sci-fi film opened at the Milo theater in Chicago; I begged Santa for Tom Swift Jr. novels for Christmas; I collected and traded those creepy Mars Attack bubble gum cards; and of course I watched televised space launches and stood in line at the post office to buy the Project Mercury stamps the day they came out.

Fifty years later, my interest in space and space travel hasn't diminished a bit. So, I was more than excited to learn that NASA has released to the public a great number of images available from its space program and from the Hubble Space Telescope. I've been making prints for myself of course, but I realize that not everyone has a high-quality inkjet printer and the know-how to make great color prints. For that reason, I opened this shop to offer selected prints at a cost that covers only my time and materials.

To ensure great quality, I've picked only the highest-resolution images, cropped them to fit standard paper sizes and enhanced them with photo editing software, adjusting for color, brightness and contrast to create a well-balanced image while maintaining astronomical accuracy.

Finally, I print these amazing images on high-quality archival paper using vivid ultrachrome pigment inks. The prints you receive from me are sharp and vivid and will last a lifetime with proper care.
