Hello, and welcome to Designs by M’Ayanna. My name is Patrice and I am the principal designer.

Jewelry making for me started out as a business idea for my 10-year-old daughter. Her interest lasted for all of three weeks and I got hooked instead! The name of the shop reflects that initial relationship. M’Ayanna is short for “Mommy and Ayanna.”

I absolutely love learning new techniques and you'll find my styles vary from traditional to steam punk to glamor. I like a variety of pieces to go with my mood or the outfit I'm wearing. So you never know what you'll find in my shop! If you like variety, this is the place for you! You certainly won't see these items in the department store!

CLIP STYLE EARRINGS ARE AVAILABLE!!! Almost all the earrings on my site can be converted to ear clips for non-pierced ears. Just indicate your preference in the note portion of your order form.

Most metal components are gold- or sterling silver-plated, unless otherwise indicated. All my plated pieces receive a protective coating to preserve the color and add a nice sheen.

Also, I try to keep my jewelry moderately priced. I’m not interested in gouging anyone. I want people to get the same joy that I do out of jewelry without breaking the bank.

All my items are unique, so I can't replace an item. if your item arrives damaged, however, I will repair it free of charge. If you have pre-purchase questions, please feel free to contact me. I will help you in any way I can. It’s important that you have a satisfying online shopping experience.

I still think of this business as “we” even though my daughter (now 19) is not materially involved. She still critiques all of my designs, and if she doesn’t like it –– it doesn’t go out!!
