I'm a Scottish artist, currently living and working in London.

I create artwork in digital and traditional mediums. I use open source software (MyPaint) and a bamboo tablet for digital art. My traditional work tends to be in pencil, or painted in acrylic or watercolour.

For my craft projects, I work with natural materials and also make my own beads and yarns when I can't quite find what I want. I also find it relaxing to spin yarn or transform a lump of polymer clay into something beautiful.

My work regularly features components in a fairly natural state. I'm not such a great fan of perfect faceted gems or machine made yarns and materials. If nature has created something beautiful, I don't want it processed beyond recognition ;)...

I favour materials that are environmentally friendly, either sourced from responsible suppliers or recycled goods.

When it comes to my textiles, I own a flock of sheep bred exclusively for fibre production to high welfare standards. I don't use harsh chemicals on the sheep or their fleece.
