"You say that like it's a bad thing", I replied.

This shadowbox is for the Witch who knows who she is, and isn't afraid to say it. In shades of purple and black, this wooden box has been transformed to a work of original art.
I started with a plain unfinished box, painting, stamping, collaging, adding bits of tinsel, a satin rose, mini Moon tarot card, a found feather, a pewter pentacle, and a large chipboard "W". There are also touches of real German glass glitter in silver and black. I have stamped single images of a chalice, sword, wand, and cauldron on each side.

The box measures 5" X 5". There is a hanger on the back, and it is signed. If you would like this sent as a gift, at no extra charge, just let me know in the "notes to seller" box at the bottom of your invoice.

These are three handmade, Witches Brew scented layered votives. This fragrance is a spicy and intoxicating blend of Patchouli, Cinnamon, and Cedarwood. They are layered black and orange but the scent is the same throughout.

These are made from a high quality beeswax and paraffin blend and cotton wicks. That means it will burn better and longer than a candle made from paraffin wax alone. Burn these votives in a close fitting holder and not a bowl or plate.

This is a set of 4 unscented quarter candles (votives). These are meant for use in ritual and the colors correspond to the four directions (quarters) - blue in the West, red in the South, yellow\/gold in the East, and green in the North. I understand that some groups may use different colors and I’m happy to take custom requests if you require different colors.

These are made from a high quality beeswax and paraffin blend and all cotton wicks. That means they will burn better and longer than votives made from paraffin wax alone. Burn these votives in a close fitting holder and not a bowl or plate.

I can paint any papercut bookmark in nearly any color. A bookmark usually “faces” one direction. If it is not a word (like “Peace”), I can also cut the design to face the other direction. Or I can finish it with a ribbon of a different color. Just ask.

These papercuttings are my original design, cut from paper, painted or spray-painted. Each is handmade, and I don’t like to cut or paint them exactly alike, so each varies slightly. The back of each bookmark is gold and signed by the artist. I usually have a few of each design on hand, or I can make another. I am a member of the Guild of American Papercutters. Papercutting can also be called scherenschnitte, papel picado, etc.

A Triple Moon, in yellow with stars print is appliqued onto a white on white print background. It is then framed by a blue fabric with stars and moons.

The Pagan Symbols Series is just one of my series of collecible mini art quilts, each measuring approx. 5" x 7". Each mini quilt depicts a different symbol, and uses unique fabrics. This one measures 5-3\/8" x 7-3\/8"

All fabrics are 100% quilt-quality cotton, unless otherwise specified. Backing is unbleached muslin.

Pieced and appliqued by machine, then hand-quilted and hand-stitched with details.

You can frame these, hang on the wall, or use to accent your decor. Let me know in your note to seller if you would like me to add loops on the back for hanging.

ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This original artwork is a mixed media of woodburning and casein paint on baltic birch wood. The majority of the artwork is done through Pyrography (drawing onto the the wood with burning tools) and the alternate medium is casein paint (milk paint). Milk paint is an eco-friendly, non toxic medium which is as durable as any other artist paint. It has a chalky matte finish that suits the wood nicely, and pairs up beautifully with the burning. To learn more about the process of woodburning please see my shop profile.

The wood used for this burning is a baltic birch veneer. I hand cut the wood to size and hand sanded down the edges to be softer and have a more primitive appearance. The edges of this artwork are left natural with the ply visible along the sides.

The artwork has been titled, signed and dated (burned) on the back, and has been lightly sprayed in two coats of protective non-yellowing matte varnish.

This artwork will come to you framed and ready to go directly onto your wall or shelf.

**PLEASE NOTE** The artwork is framed in a non traditional fashion. The artwork has been permanently mounted to the from of the frame and is not meant to be removed from the frame. The frame was made to have a shadowbox effect, and the front of the artwork is flush with the highest edge of the frame. The frame has been custom made from genuine barnwood, from a framer in Michigan. It is a super well made and extremely sturdy frame. It comes with a saw tooth hanger already attached to the back, and a hang tag with information about the artwork.

Ghastly!

This Halloween edition miniature cottage cabinet is filled with everything a ghoulish gravedigger would need. Black dusted with gold...

Take a look...

There are interesting bottles, curious brass containers with strange labels and brass instruments. A blank gravestone waits to be inscribed on the top shelf, another mossy grave is alongside the cabinet with a bat flying overhead. A skeleton hangs off of one side of the cabinet. Strange charts are along the back of the cabinet. A book entitled the History of Torture is on the top of the cabinet with a drippy red candle. There is a top hat and a variety of bones throughout the cabinet. A weird specimen bottle is on one shelf. A white candle can be found in a skull holder. A shovel hangs off of the cabinet. A pile of mossy skulls resides in front of the cabinet. Plus there are so many more little details for you to discover.

The cabinet is about 7 inches tall by 4 inches wide.

Please note that everything in the cabinet is fixed in place.

Curly willow is an extraordinary tree. You can cut all the branches off to the trunk, and the next year they will grow back with vigor. The tree that provided branches for this wreath sprang from a dried out curly willow branch used to trellis a rose bush. It was not, apparently, as dead as previously imagined.

Willows of all kinds are magical trees. They are associated with the moon, and with water, and are used in magic for love, protection, and healing. What better tree to make a pentacle to hang on your door or in your home, to guarantee that love and healing will thrive?

I created this wreath from branches of the curly willow tree on my land. Like everything else I grow, no chemical fertilizers or pesticides are used on or near the tree (or indeed, anywhere on my land). The points of the star are held together with undyed hemp twine.

Wreath measures approximately 8" inches in diameter.

Please note: bits of this wreath are still green in the photo, but over time all of the wreath will darken to brown.
