About
I was born and raised outside Oslo, Norway, and spent my summers in Risør, on the southeast coast.
As for most Norwegians, the sea, the mountains, and the forest were always close at hand, and swimming, fishing, bird watching, skiing, and hiking were everyday activities.
My love for nature has made its way into my designs, as well as my Scandinavian need for color.
I now live and work in beautiful Decorah, Iowa, with my husband, daughter, two cats, and a school of goldfish.
