I am a full-time professional artist living in Surrey, United Kingdom. I came out of University with a First Class Honours Degree in Theatre Set and Costume Design and only ended up working ONE day in a Theatre. I have always loved painting and using my imagination, and began painting commissions of Dogs & Cats at about 14 years of age.
My little business Almost an Angel 66 began six years ago now and I am loving every moment, the paintings that I paint, commissions, and the amazing people I meet along my way.

I have 3 children, and four dog children (two Whippety Whippets, and two cheeky Chihuahuas). Plus I cannot miss out our little family pony Sugar Dumpling, who gives me plenty of doses of pure adrenaline as she is not the easiest mare to ride, but we adore her and tis my belief our animals play a crucial part in why my children are such rounded individuals. The children and animals are the backbone to all my creations.

I remember at school in nearly every class report teachers would write, Elle has an overactive imagination and a bit of a day dreamer, and all my art teachers commented from the age of thirteen that I would excel in an artistic career. I was a bit of a rebel and refused to paint what the curriculum wanted me to paint, fortunately I was allowed the freedom to follow my own path.

Almost an Angel 66 is about...... the beauty in imperfection, life, emotions, good, bad, sad, happy, funny, cheeky, naughtiness, madness, love and much more. I hope to offer in each and every print and painting a little piece of me and my imagination.
